I know almost everybody on this website uses high quality photo editing software, but as an amateur who posts photos to Myaviation.net, I found out about Picasa and it fits my very basic photo editing needs. My question to anyone who has/uses/used Picasa or can compare Picasa to professional photoshop is whether or not Picasa distorts proportions when using the straighten or crop features ONLY?

Example: Makes a 747 look shorter than it actually is, yet the height is what it is supposed to be.(because of straighten feature)

This issue has had me wondering for a while, and Google search can't find anything on this topic.

Any info is appreciated,
