I need your expertise and help for my trip next week...
I will be taking pictures of the new Dreamliner for LOT Polish and would like to know best settings for indoor and outdoor... It is one a lifetime opportunity and I do not want to mess it up...
This is not a question anyone can answer. It depends on the available light when you are taking the photos as well as the type of photo you want to achieve. This is where the skill of the photographer comes in, and experience, in making best use of the light. It also depends on the type of photos you're wanting to take and the circumstances you are in. Ideally, you want to use a low ISO, aperture that will give you the sharpness from your lens as well as the desired depth of field, and a shutter speed fast enough to prevent any motion blur / camera shake but slow enough to give a sense of movement if that is desired. There are too many variables to give a simple answer.
Equipment: 2x Canon EOS 50D; Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM, 50-500 EX APO DG, Canon 24-105 f/4 L, Speedlite 430EX

I can tell only that : first of all try some shots with diferrent settings before you will take right ones. I usually do this way before taking shots I was waiting for. Last sunday we had opportunity at ORD when UA Dreamliner arrived.
BTW hopefully I'll try to get a flight on SP-LRA next summer...
Pozdrawiam z ORD
