I have to say, "Nice Work screeners"! I bet it's been a busy 24 hours, over 1,000 shots accepted in the last day.

Well done. I monitored it for a while and thought there won't be much left to screen.

Yesterday when I came onto the homepage of this site, I clicked on the link to view images of the last 48 hours since I was out of town and missed viewing pics for 2 days. When the next page came up it said there were over 1800 photos. I had to do a double take! Over 1800 in the past 48 hours....that's awesome!

As a frequent contributor to A.net, I really appreciate the effort the screeners have put in over the past weekend to reduce the queue.....I would even suggest reducing our maximum upload limit if that would result in a 1 or 2 day queue....which in the end would still be better than 40 photos in a 7-10 day queue.

Thanks again guys...

I'd rather be flying.

Great job to the screeners. I submitted some photos last Sunday and by this Saturday they were already screened. A bit less than a week wait, which I haven't seen for some time.

Indeed, I was very impressed. I'd submitted images on, I think, 4 consecutive days, and they were all screened within about 36-48 hours.

I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".

New members on the screening team maybe?. Also the winter carries less traffic to airports and the people goes out less for spotting, that means less photos in the queue.

It is really noticeable the faster screening process. Thanks to all involved.
