Hello everyone,
I recently appealed a photo, and it was added to the appeal queue. I woke up the next morning, and checked online, yet the site claimed I had no photos in the appeal queue. I never received any sort of email, and I've always received every acceptance/rejection email from this site. My rejected photo still has the time and reason of the initial rejection. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I appeal the photo again?

The photo was rejected on 11.28.2012 at 18:44:08. It was appealed right after I had read the rejection email. The photo in question is the following:
It was rejected on "borders," in particular, "bottom right edge." I did take a look at the photo, and could find no such problems. This was further made confusing by the fact that this was a heavy crop, with no rotation at all involved. I've attached a link to a resized version of the original photo below:
I believe the problem is, that, if you look closely at the original photo, the red line painted on the ground has a white line right under where I cropped. Perhaps this was the reason for the border confusion.
As my appealed photo seems to have dissapeared, should I re-appeal it?
Thanks!
-Thomas
Oh, and as I side note, I've noticed that almost all my rejection emails contain a short personal pointer that specifies the problem beyond the general rejection category. I find these very useful, and appreciate that the screeners take this extra time to help us out a bit!

It never made it to the appeal queue.

In that case, just crop it a little tighter to get rid of it. If it had been me, I would have taken it for a border as well.

It looks like a border, so best bet is to re-crop it to remove it. I'd also recommend a smaller size than 1400 pix, but will leave that up to you.
