I didn't add the remark regarding spares from this aircraft being used to keep another aircraft flying. Could the screener have added the comment during the screening process or is this a glitch and I should get it corrected? I certainly haven't had this happen before.

Sometimes other users request such 'changes' I think, and they're sometimes approved. I find that a litttle strange as well, especially when it's not a correction of an error.

The photo had only been accepted 5 hours prior to me seeing the remark so it never occurred to me that someone may have used the correction functionality to update the remark. Absent of any other reason, I have to assume this is what happened.
I have no idea if the comment is even legit, so if it isn't it looks like I made a wrong statement. Oh well, not sure if I should do anything about it.

I'm not aware of an instance where we've ever added a comment. Remarks are at times removed or edited (i.e. grammar corrected), but it is certainly not standard practice to add remarks. Must have been another member requesting the change, as Peter suggests.

This is certainly not standard practice if the request did not come from the photographer.
We normally do not allow changes to remarks by other users, although we may make an exception if the original remark is factually incorrect. In such cases, and if it's a major change, we will usually contact the photographer first.

If I may ask, did you add a remark when you uploaded the photo, and if so, do you remember what it was?
Please let me know what you want me to do. I can remove the remark for you, or replace it with something else. To put your mind at ease, the current remark is factually correct. There are also plans to move the forward fuselage to Australia for static display.

I can't remember, but I doubt I put anything in the remarks. If I did, it would have just been something about the condition of the aircraft and not its status.
I am fine with leaving the remark since you say it is factually correct.
