Andrew thanks us for clicking for his pics. He feels honoured but I think we must thank him for uploading all those beautiful pics for so many years. Photographers like him make A'net worth while spending our precious time. Andrew, congratulations and thanks again. Ik hope you go for the 20.000th in 2020!

Amazing,
I can not imagine how the heck one would ever get to 10.000!
As an indication: my present goal is to ever get to 100 pictures accepted on A-net!
People must spend a lot of time on their hobby to be able to upload so many (decent) shots, I mean 10.000 pics accepted; so how many rejections would mister Hunt have?
Congratulations, and keep them coming..........although I have a feeling they will!

Congratulations to Andrew. His pictures of Kai Tak in the 1980s and 1990s really hits the spot for me as an ex-pat Hong Konger who grew up around that time. It brings back lots of old memories!

I cant imagine all the money put into film and developing you must have spent in the years past for all the older images you have, but it was all worth it for this amazing achievement. Congrats on all the work you have done in this not so cheap hobby!

Congrats Andrew Hunt! I remember when you uploaded a photo of my flight to NRT on the day you took that SQ plane which brought forth your 10,000th submission...indeed a stellar collection
PS if you have any more photos of Ship 7103 during its time on the ground in LAX (or even during takeoff) please upload them

AIRLINERS.NET CREW PHOTO SCREENER
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your kind words and taking the time to post, it makes me even more motivated to keep uploading if I know that people are interested to look.
Yes, I am quite proud of the achievement, it has taken a lot of time and consistent uploading, But it has been worth it. Onto 20,000.
Currently in Tokyo, and have had some time at the airport, so expect some uploads from there shortly!

Andy - congratulations on 10,000 photos on airliners.net
Quite a remarkable result, not just as a photographer, but as a dad, a husband, and a screener.

Hi Andy,
Wow, many congratulations! As Royal pointed out, that is some serious time you have dedicated to the site, not only in terms of shooting/editing/uploading, but also in screening, and all of that besides you 'regular' time-consuming activities, like job, family...so that we can enjoy your wonderful pictures, many thanks for that.
I hope you remember that whenever life might lead you down here you just let me know and I'll be delighted to finally meet you and show you around.
Let's see if it's Mick or you who get first to 20,000
Cheers,
Andres
