FYI, Nikon has just announced the D7100:

Highlights:

24MP sensor (same as the D5200 it seems, so most likely made by Toshiba) but, most importantly, with no low-pass filter
AF system with 51 points, 15 cross type, center point that can work at f/8 (an improved version of the AF system from the D300/D300s it seems)
(Thankfully) Same battery as the D7000, D600, D800, etc.
