Hi Screeners,

Just a quick query regarding photography of the BA shorthaul fleet. As you are probably aware, during 2012 the majority of the BA shorthaul fleet at LHR received London 2012 stickers just aft of the rear doors.

My question is, for a shot taken a Myrtle avenue of any given aircraft with this sticker in 2012, and then repeated with the sticker removed in 2013 be considered a duplicate during screening?

Regards & Thanks for any advice.

Anthony

Hi,

I am not a screener, but the basic rule for double is that you can not have two shots of the same aircraft taken on the same day. One shot in 2012 and another in 2013 would generally not be considered a double.

However, "In certain cases you can also get this rejection if there are photos in the database that are nearly identical to the one(s) rejected here, but taken on another date by you."

I would think that if you have the same reg number taken from the same location it might come down to details like the background. The London 2012 stickers do not look like they would be significant enough to affect this either way.

No, it would not.
