Martin Mars Water Bomber Base will no longer be open to visitors.
Coulson Flying Tankers will also be shutting down the visitor's centre and tours at the Mars Bomber base indefinitely.

The group that owns the planes, the Coulson Group, have sold one of the Mars planes, the Phillipines Mars, to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Florida. The plane had been out of commission for the last five years and used strictly for tours.
The other plane, The Hawaii Mars, will be contracted out to the provincial government to help fight fires this year. This means the base will lie empty for many days this summer. Because of this, the Coulson Group has decided to close the museum located at the base and cancel any future public tours of the facility.
