I didn't think that I had much chance of getting this picture accepted to start with but after going through my two rolls of pictures from my local airport, I figured I'd upload one just for the hell of it. Anyway, after waiting through the query, my photo died the usual death. I guess I should be happy because I didn't get the "Low Quality" reason. I've seen that one over 150 times and I was getting sick of it. Anyway, to quote from the e-mail.
"The photos were either of low esthetic qualities (bad angle, included window reflections, pictured just a part of an aircraft, out of focus or similar), pictured an aircraft far in the distance or did not picture an aircraft at. Finally, you might read this because your camera displays the date in the lower right corner of the image. If so, please disable that feature in the future."
While I was already sure the picture wouldn't make it (due to the fact my new camera just doesn't work right) I would love to know where the DATE is in this picture. While I'm sure this is a pre-programmed response, it seems dumb to add that when most people know NOT to add the date/time on anything they upload.
I've got a roll of slides out being developed and if they come out (very little chance of that if my luck with this camera is any indication) then maybe I'll be able to try again. I'm not 100% sure but I think I might have found the setting on the camera that was causing the problem. I know on Friday.
