Manchester United Charter (KDFW)

Manchester United is scheduled to play Club America on Sunday March 24 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.

Does anyone know who they charter from and the possible flight number? The last time the team was in town for a game at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, they had a Virgin Atlantic A340-600 chartered (I believe it was Man United during that game).

Any information would be helpful and a heads up for all local DFW spotters!

Nothing unusual showing for the next few days but I'll let you know if I hear anything as the aircraft will of course depart from MAN (my local field).

Thanks, I'm almost 100% positive they will use DFW but I do know DAL does have custom facilities on-site and it is about 20 miles closer to the stadium.

Anything would help, unless they are already here in the states.

I'd say they are either already there or flying out first class with a regular airline. If something did fly them out it wasn't interesting enough for anyone to care this end I'm afraid.

It is the Manchester United under 21 side playing in the US next week so no charters due I'm afraid.

Well that explains A LOT then .. they are advertising it as "Manchester United" not the under 21 .. granted it is the young soccer match, but they usually have some sort of main attraction.

Bummer!
