SXM Arriving And Departing Photos

Generally what side of the aircraft would you have to sit on to get an arrival shot of SXM, and a departing shot. Thanks.

On departure, I'd say the right side. For arrivals either side would be fine, although I'd choose the right side again.

On approach, especially from Europe - I'd say for me left is preferable. You my have nice shots of Sint-Marten island while approach (from the right is just Anguila islnd) and on short final first you have Sonesta view and second - you make photo by the sun, not opposite.

I generaly would recommend you to look through the DB to compare abilities. There are no many shots like that there however at least some are.

Thanks for the info Fyodor, I changed my seats this morning. By the way, that departure shot is killer! I hope I can get a shot similar to yours.
