Hi all, what's your best way to reduce noise of RAW images?
And which plug-ins do you use for Photoshop? (Not just for reduce noise)

Best Regards,

Liad

I know someone who uses a program called 'Noise Ninja' and it seems to work very well.

Personally I just shoot at base ISO and don't worry about noise much, I'm just careful to not underexpose so that I don't have to increase shadow detail

I used Noise Ninja and it worked reasonably well at the time. However, Lightroom (starting from version 3) have really improved their built-in NR feature and that's what I used all the time these days.

If only I could use base ISO at dusk and at night.

Thanks for your answers guys. I searching for the NR tool that compresses less than the others.
For example Topaz Denoise compresses a lot.

I use Adobe Camera Raw's noise reduction - no plug-ins. Works pretty well. But proper exposure / slight overexposure helps the most.

I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".
