If you want to upload your photos on the web, I dont' think it is of much use to photograph a landing aircraft at night as that is very difficult/almost impossible actually. For your personal collection, however, nice of course

Cool , nice shot. Here , in Chicago, when AF1 is expected we have more police on the roads but no kicking out planespotters. CPD helicopter usually sircling around and before final aproach they watching aproaching glidepath. Actually we have no observation area at ORD but AF1 mostly arriving on 32R/14L so we have some specific places to get proper photo. There were maybe 2 or 3 arrivals that AF1 suprised everyone. Last time she should land on 14L but I heard on radio that they were vectoring her to 22R once AF1 finally arrived on 9L (no aicrafts landed before on this rwy except FAA testing a/c) so that was big suprise. Only one guy was in proper place (he didn't know) and got some cool pictures. He was just there (end of Wolf Rd) to see airport situation during arrival but had camera ready.
