Hi there. I'm looking into doing a few days photography at both Taipei airports. Although there are many photos here on Airliners, I have noted "No Photography" signs around the perimeter at TSA. Is it in fact a problem or is this not enforced by the authorities? Any help/tips from Airliners fellow photographers would be very much appreciated, thank you.

And what are the possibilities at TPE for photography?

I cannot speak of perimeter spotting at TSA, but there is a glass enclosed observation deck there. Very comfortable and convenient.

Taxiway WC spot at TPE is highly photogenic, but difficult to get there unless you have a car. A step ladder is recommended (or sit on the roof of your car as I did  ).

I go twice a year spotting at TSA airport. There is no problem at all with the Taiwan police to take picture along the airport perimeter or at the end of the runway. TSA airport may be the best airport for spotting as you can get very close to the aircraft. There is no large fence at the end of runway and local people come to see landing and take-off.
