Hi folks,

In August 3 there will be my 10 years on Anet, since my first shot was published. Yesterday was my another
modest jubilee:

My 30 mln views.

I have to say thanks to all who was interested in my works, I hope you'd enjoyed some of them.

And many thanks to Anet for the great time I've spend there (and hope I will further), for the contacts with friends and colleagues from all over the world I had during these years. I also really happy the old spirit of Anet is now renovating with the announced changes. It is really nice to see this place friendly and full of interesting bright staff.

My special thanks to the guys (some I know personally, some don't) whose works and experience I've used to learn more about aviation photography. Here is the list and it is not closed - I hope to enlarge it in future:

Regards and thanks to you all again,

Congratulations on 10 years, 2600+ photos, and (       ) THIRTY MILLION views! You might be interested to know that you're 5th on the list of total distinct views on A.net (not that it's a competition  ).

I also hit 10 years as a member yesterday, but with nowhere near the number of photos/views of you!

Been a pleasure to screen your shots.

Great job Fyodor! Still trying to get pics up here myself, but I was accessing the site a long time before signing up for the photographer membership last month. So in a way it's a milestone for me too, as I've been coming to the site for 10 years.

Damn, that's what I call an achievement...       Congrats on the milestone and your 10-year anniversary! Like I said a few days ago aswell, keep up the good work

On a side note, this thread made me realize that my 10-year anniversary is coming up in December (although I've lurked for before that)!

Many congratulations, Fyodor!

Getting 2600 photos accepted here and achieving the amount of views you do is no small feat and you have some of the most interesting, rare but also amazing photos on the net.

Still hoping to find my way to Gelendzhik one day.

It's also been a real pleasure meeting you in Moscow 2 years ago and hope to do so again sometime soon.

Here's to the next 2600 acceptances and 30 million views.

Cheers,

Congratulations! Your pics are stunning.

I hit 10 years since my first photo about a month ago ... difference being that I have less than 1/2 the pics as you and 1/6 the views!

Many thanks guys, for your kind words!

Yeh, guys - 2003 was a year Anet attract many people. I've started to watch it since 2002 and made first try in spring of 2003. I don't know statistic but I'll not be surprised if 2002-2004 was the period the bigest amount of photogs have joined the site.

Vik, thanks - I know indeed   I see nothing bad in word 'competetion'. I'd even say it good for all of us to be competitors, to try to make better and more interesting shots. However it should be friendly as we also are colleagues and funs of the same thing.

Since I've made it I worry it will be difficult to do something which I'll like more.

Yerbol, once I surely have!

You should not be worry about that - as I mentioned above - competition is important but the most important think in what we do is the moment you made a shot and you enjoy it. Rest of all is just plus to that

Andrei, mate, you know I have some more good staff in archives and they also became bidgger and bigger from day to day. The problem is spendings for HDDs
