I am looking into getting a digital camera and was wondering if anybody on here has any experiences (good or bad) with the Canon G2. From what I've read, it looks like a pretty good camera, but after searching this board, I came up with nothing. A digital SLR is out of my budget and the G2 would be about the must I can afford (assuming I add a few accessories). Are there any other similar cameras that would be better? Thanks.

Hi IAH_EWR,
I think that, the Canon G2 is an Excellent Camera it have a lot of good things, and have 4.1 MP that is an excellent resolution.
If you have ramp access it is your camera, because it´s only have 3x or 102mm. That zoom is good for ramp shots, even if you can see take photos with just 3x in Houston, the camera would be great.
Also, check the Canon Pro90 that is a great camera too, with 3.3 MP and 10x zoom. And it´s about the same price I think.
