I plan two weeks spotting trip;
Luxembourg - Brussels - Amsterdam - Dusseldorf - Hanover - Hamburg.
I have two questions to those, who are familiar with spotting in those countries;
Is there anything on the way worth visiting (aviation wise)? I found Woensdrecht for example, but may be there is something else.
I picked DUS and HAJ kind of "on the way between" Amsterdam and Hamburg (where I go for the Airbus factory tour). Are DUS and HAJ OK or would you suggest something else instead?

DUS is OK for spotting, it has nice outdoor terraces on top of the terminal and the railway station.
Woensdrecht is very quiet.
Are you only interested in airliners, or military, general aviation and old aircraft too?

Also, near Duesseldorf is Monchengladbach. There's a maintenance facility for ATRs there. I was last there early July and saw ATRs from American Eagle (3x), Air Dolomiti (3x), Royal Air Maroc Express (2x), Aer Lingus, Meridian Air, Olympic and even a private Azerbaijani ATR!
You are like me I guess, I like to make multiple stops on my trips, but in all fairness you might just as well drive straight from BRU to AMS, which has of course good traffic and a few good photo spots.
