Not sure if this is the proper place to post this, if not, then maybe someone can point me in the right direction?
I need some help in identifying 12 aircraft on the ground at YXE, located at 52.17911,-106.682611
This is in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and located on airport property, north of the runways.
11 of these carry the old Canadian Airlines colors, however near as I can tell they are unmarked. The 12th I can’t get near, and would like to try and figure out the type of aircraft it is. It is different from the rest.
I do not have an aviation background, but I am curious as to why these are even here. More specifically, if they were in fact part of the Canadian Airlines fleet that was grounded when the airline went under. If true, then it’s the back story I am wondering about, i.e. why they weren’t sold off, ect.
Any thoughts out there?

Thanks! With the extra little help i was able to locate many posts on the subject of these F28's. Sounds like they have been picked apart so bad for parts, plus what you mentioned about the costs, that they are nothing but shells now. I appeciate the help in understanding this story. I have driven past them for years going to from work, always wondered.
