Hi all,

I’m hunting for a nice point and shoot camera for taking pictures of planes and cities as well. Could you please tell me which are the best options brand and style wise. I want a camera that takes images with live colours, nice contrast and sharpness

Thanks very much,

I would highly recommend that you purchase a Nikon Coolpix P510. I use one currently, and really like it. Great for night shots with manual settings, and aviation during the day! Great for wildlife too. Big bang for your buck.

Happy shooting!

I currently would recommend the Sony RX100. It's a bit pricey for a point and shoot, but it is like a professional body. Can control everything and the quality is pretty decent as well. My brother has one and I like it a lot better than my Canon S100.

Taken with a Samsung Galaxy S2. The S4 is even better.

Many thanks to each one of you for your replies. Truly appreciate it

One of my friends also suggested Panasonic Lumix TZ40. Is this good as well?

Thanks in advance

Where's the passion gone out of the airline industry? The smell of jetfuel and the romance of taking a flight....
