Hi

I hope somebody can help.

I have a jpeg which is 803 KB. When I upload to airliners.net it drop's to 455 KB. This greatly reduces the quality of the image.

Can anybody explain why and how I can stop this from happening.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Kind Regards
Peter

You can't. The site applies it's own compression upon uploading. I believe the original upload is used for screening but even if it isn't, it's a function of the upload process that you have no control over. All you can do is upload the best quality you can.
