Wow,

I had heard of the dust issues of the D600 but it seems like Nikon is striking back with the D610!

What do you people think!?
Cheaper than the D600 when it was new, nice.
I reckon the D600 will drop in prize significantly.

Cheers,

I feel bad for the D600 owners who get screwed here. Instead of offering a recall and a permanent fix, they fix it and sell it as a new model. I know a couple D600 owners who keep going back and forth with Nikon about repairs that don't appear to be doing any good. Needless to say, they are frustrated over the whole thing.

Pentax K3 is optimum selection if you care of rich color. I have an old pentax K7 with Sigma 70-200 F2.8 ,very good use

Strangely enough, I've seen several group reviews of D600 class cameras in magazines recently, and not one of them has mentioned the problems that the D600 has been having, indeed they all say what a fine camera it is.

I would not trade my D700 for a D610.

I have a Pentax K30 with a 70-300MM and it is a very good camera.

Obviously my friend, when you carry more expensive equipment, why "downgrade" so to speak??
Having said that, look at this test:

http://snapsort.com/compare/Nikon-D610-vs-Nikon_D700

I am shooting with a D3100 at the moment and a basic lens, so the D610 would be a great upgrade for me!
