While it's the most I can expect from a web-based e-mail to the FAA concerning airport/aviation photography, here's what the automatic response is.
<
and
security of air travel is on all our minds, across America. At FAA, we
are
working aggressively to respond to and resolve security concerns. We
need to
ensure heinous acts like those that occurred in New York, Pennsylvania,
and
Washington D.C. on September 11 never happen again.
The Secretary of Transportation established two task forces to address
security.
One team is focusing on increasing security at the nation's airports;
the other
team will examine security on board aircraft. They are collecting,
evaluating,
and prioritizing ideas that will help to develop a new national
strategy for
aviation security. Their initial report was made on October 1, and
already,
significant changes in procedures are in place at all our nation's
airports to
tighten security. [The full report will not be made public for security
reasons].
Please accept our appreciation for your taking the time to share your
thoughts
and suggestions with us. Your help and support is an important
contribution to
ensuring the safety and security of the Nation's aviation system.
