Hmmmm....I am not an expert on the quality, which I like...But I would go with it just based on the view. It is busy, captures the busy atmosphere of the airport, gives you a sense of the controlled chaos (or is that KAOS....) To me the photo is more than of just an airplane...It tells a story. Go with it!

Great shot! But it hurts my eyes a little bit... I played around with the brightness/contrast just a bit... what do you think?
If you like it, feel free to take it and upload away.

Sorry, but I prefer the original, a softer backlit feel...
and it's not recommended to maniplulate a jpeg and expect to maintain the original quality. It can be quite difficult Jeremy .. (lossy)
I'm not sure, but is the foreground A340 oversharpened?
The 'Virgin Atlantic' titles and the 'AIRBUS 340' has a distinct heavy 'halo' around the edges?
I don't see many of them 'oop 'ere of course, but that's what caught my eye first.

the A340 in the foreground looks fine to me...
i like the pic...a good situational shot with lots of action going on...even though you did shoot into the sun....so what?? you can get good pics without the sun at your back the whole time...that's where you get creative and get to experiment some...so i like what you've done with this shot

I agree with Thomas. Only thing is the level of the camera. Check the lightpoles in the background. 1 degree Counterclockwise should do it. But then you have to crop it and this might cut off the 747 tail.
Oh and clone out that bmi its disturbing a little bit (<- just a joke)

Cheers for your help, I am going to upload it and see. I know about shooting into the sun but this was an exception as I though it has the potential of being a good shot.
