Congratulations on getting one accepted!

Regarding your other shot, it's not bad in terms of sharpness etc. However, the problems are really twofold. Firstly, you can see that the aircraft is in shadow, even though the sun is shining in the bottom of the frame - which is not ideal. Secondly, the angle of the shot isn't great - 3/4 behind.

Great shot!

For the AA F100, I think the quality is there, but the problem is that you shot it in the shadows (like Chris mentioned above). It appears that the sun was at a GREAT angle at the time of the shot - I would have quickly moved away from that F100 and found something else that was lit by that beautiful early morning (or was it late afternoon?) sun.

Great work so far,

-Scott

It was a late afternoon shot of the F100. There are several buildings and the ATCT , not to mention a fence i was shooting through. THanks for all the compliments tho  Smile

Congratulations - that's a nice shot of the tower. I know how you feel, I just got my first three photos accepted here a few weeks ago, and another three last night.

As for the other shot, like others have said, the quality is good, but it's in the shadows. If you had got that shot in the light, I think it would have been accepted without a problem.
