Hello guys. I would like to find out what flash you recommend for my Nikon F5. Thanks for all you help.

For a Nikon camera in that class there are only 2 flash units that do it justice, the Nikon SB28 and the Metz 40MZ3i.
Both come in at around €400.

If money is not an issue, yes, the SB28 is the way to go. If you are on a budget, the SB23 and SB25 would be good choices. It also depends on what you will use the flash for...

Actually, you might want to consider the SB-26 if you come across a mint example. It actually have quite a few extra functions which were left out from the SB-28. In fact, from what I saw in the used market here in HKG, mint condition used SB-26's are worth as much as a brand-new SB-28 (both around US$290).
