I was just reading about a Fuji Digital Camera, F601 and I don't understand how Fuji gets their megapixle value. It says 3.1 true and then it says 6.0. I have a Fuji 4900 right now and it tells me it has 2.4 and 4.3 megapixles. Can someone explain how many megapixles these cameras have and how this Super CCD thing works?

I believe it is through interpolation, which is some mathmatical formula which kicks up the image size/quality.
