The first 2 Airbus A330-200's of ILFC leased by VG Airlines are now painted by ATE at Châteauroux. The two aircraft will be expected at Brussels at March 11 or 12, 2002. For the latest news and perhaps arrival information contact VG Airlines. Here is their site: http://www.vgair.be. I'm looking forward to your stunning pictures here on Airliners.net.

If I have the time I'll try to do that. However, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to the airport, but I'm sure that many other BRU spotters will...

I have emailed the Operations department of VG Airlines Belgium. Now let's cross our fingers and hope they answer...

I'm not going to stand there at the airport from 7AM to, let's say, 5PM or so, no way...  Laugh out loud This kiddo has other things to do as well!

but i looked at their website and the livery looks awesome!!!

they have schedules up for JFK and BOS, but they said they would add more destinations...i hope that ORD is on that list!!!

Untill now I still haven't received a reply from VG Airlines. I'll give them some more credit I guess  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Apuneger,

Taking into account that 2/3rd of VG Airlines 'Flight Operations Department' as you called it stepped over to SN Brussels Airlines' long haul ops at Birdie as soon as they were offered the change, I imagine it can take some time to get a reply for VG, if any....

Anyway, don't worry. The plane will be sitting idle at Brussels for at least 3 more weeks since there is still no Belgian AOC in sight, not even to mention FAA authorisation to fly to the US!

I saw a very good site on the net of a person who will certainly take the first pictures of VG Air!!

See it and enjoy it:

Sabenapilot:

You could be right about this one: still no answer from VG Airliners...

I guess if the weather is, euh, not too bad, I'll just drive to the airport and take my chance to take an approach shot.

Any news about what time it will arrive? I'll go up there and try to get it on the landing, it might be some time before it flies again..
