Guys,
Why are there so few widebodies (747 and Airbus A330/340 particular)
visiting the BRU airport?
Is it due to the noise restrictions? Or is BRU not intresting enough?
When you see other airports you see mostly "big planes"!!
No offence, BRU is a nice airport but i like to see some more
great big birds...

Hey Xenon,
I think it will better the next coming months.
1) I heard that BR would begin to fly pax flights to EBBR
2) VG Airlines
3) Birdy
Now we have:
1) AA
2) DL
3) SQ (pax + freight)
4) Saudi Arabian
5) MS
6) 6V
7) Cameroon Airlines
8) Air Honkong (freight)
9) China Airlines (freight)
.....
Yes, when you go to AMS or CDG you see lots of wide bodies. I find it too that all those Avro's are becoming boring, but do not forget that we have a small country!!

Hey,
I saw a China Airlines B747-400F in Brussels about 2 months ago. Maybe this flight is cancelled now, but I thought it was a regular flight than. I believe it was on a weekday, but I am not sure...

China Airlines is regular at LUX (sometimes twice a day with 742 and 744), but very rare at BRU.
It's strange but most of the widebodies at BRU are freighters (Saudia, Air Hong Kong, Asiana, Korean, EVA, Singapore Cargo, Gemini, World, Hydro Air... + ad hoc flights Fed Ex, Evergreen....).

I have an additional question (it is out of topic, but...)
On Saturday the 30th of March, a part of the last year students of my school departs on holiday to Catania, Sicilië.
They depart with Thomas Cook at 13.00h to Catania.
If there is someone at the airport, can you please take some photos of the aircraft and send me them via e-mail (check my profile for e-mail).
