Hello guys!

I have been looking through the new photos added to the data base and came across one of Chalres Falk's photos. I can't understand how such a photo can be on film? It is so sharp, and looks 100% like digital! Awesome work Charles!  Smile

Hey Charles. I guess that was a good title I accidentally typed. "King of Quality"! Have you gone digital? It sure looks like!  Smile

This is from Charle's profile:

Prefered equipment: Canon Elan II, Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L, Provia 100F

And I think he has the Nikon Coolscan 4000ED or something like that anyway

So professional Canon "L" lenses plus professional slide film does help!
Personally I love looking at Charles photo's because I can always be assures of superb quality! Keep it up Charles

Martin

Wow, a thread dedicated to one of my photos - I'm blushing!

It's not digital. Fuji Provia through a Nikon Coolscan 4000ED scanner. I used a Canon 70-200mm L 2.8 lens, and this particular shot was pretty close-up, probably at 70mm. I've upgraded my camera body from the Elan II to an EOS 1v, but that makes little difference.

In retrospect, I think I should have toned down the blues a touch. But thanks for the kind comments.

Charles
