Doh, Carlos!
Well, I responded explaining the way I work, what my conditions are, and telling them straight out I expect some sort of monetary compensation besides a copy of the book. We all know we don't get to photograph airplanes for free.

Chris:
I also got the same mail several months ago and replied it.
The conditions were good for me and similar to what I usually have been asking for my contributions -fortunately, this keeps being a hobby for me -, and I answered. another mail followed, telling that they will contact me and added more photos to the "wishlist". I said OK, but still waiting for further news...
Toni
There is a very fine line between 'hobby' and 'mental illness'.

Hi Toni-
Sometimes that is what happens. You send them a reply and if ultimately they don't like your conditions (or just can't abide to them), you won't hear back from them. It's happened countless times.

I got the same message some month ago and I repsonded with Joe's standard answers. They wanted me to state my conditions, but I haven't answered yet because I know they won't like them.
BTW, these are the same guys who sometimes ask for the usage of some pics for printing postcards. They offer you 15 of these postcards in return (and take the money of the sales for their own).
