I don't mean to nag or anything, but several months ago I noticed that the plane pictured here...

...was the one that later crashed on Svalbard killing 141 people. I thought it would be positive to mention this in the remark field, and sent the corrections. But still the remark doesn't mention the accident at all.

Does anyone handle the corrections that are made?  Confused

I do corrections everyday, but it doesn't seem to be the priority of the a.net people. None of my recomodations (which were right) were ever corrected.

Sometimes the corrections get made and sometimes they don't. I submitted a good number of them about a month ago that all went through. Some that I made in the last week hadn't gone through last time I checked. I remember reading in a thread here that a few months ago many corrections were lost. Thom@s, you should suggest your correction a second time--maybe you'll have better results.

If I see something wrong in my pictures, or if someone else corrects me, I do the correct thing that comes with the photo and they always get changed.

(perhaps only after some time, but they do get changed)

Th@mas, I don't think, you posted a real "correction", but more a suggestion, what could be written in the description. A correction would be, if there would be something wrong in the caption and that doesn't seem to be so in that case.

For a correction regarding the remark of a photo, I think it's better to send the suggestion by mail to the photographer, and let him/her make the change if they find it necessary.

But only "slightly", Staffan Big grin

Seriously: It wasn't meant to be rude or something similar.
