Heyas guys,

Will be passing thru Seattle a couple of times in the next week, and its been quite sometime since I have been to SEA=TAC. What sort of spotting is there at SEA? Is there any sort of observation platform/deck/etc? Can anyone provide me with information????

Also on a sidenote, does the musuem of flight have any sort of connection with SEA-TAC (a shuttle) or what would I expect to pay to get there? Thanks for your help! Ry

You can take the pup out of Alaska, but you can't take the Alaska out of the pup.

To get to the Museum of flight from SeaTac Airport, take the #174 Metro Bus towards downtown Seattle. It takes about 15 minutes and stops right in front of the Museum at Boeing Field.

There isn't an observation deck any longer, and the viewing lot on the west side of the runways is closed due to construction of a new runway. If you have a ticket, good spots are the North Satellite, United gates, or near the American or Delta gates. Depending on runway direction, everything taxis past there.

...Ummm, top of the parking garage will afford nice views, but it's cluttered....but you can see a good portion of the activity....it's facing west, so early AM is best,,,,but it'll probably be raining anyways,,,ha ha
