Yup, LGW is correct (well, except for the spelling of course! ). The Heiniken Cup, rugby, Leicester versus Munster, took place in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff. The planes, except the BAs which are in storage at CWL, brought the supporters in for the event.

Yup, this was the result of the Munster fans pilgrimage, CWL was actually full (well they knew that) so 14 a/c were flown to BRS instead, and there were supposed to be an A330 which got moved back to CWL, a DC10 which was cancelled and an L1011 which was changed to G-HLAD A300.

Not quite true - the 777 right at the back (partly obscured by the hanger) is actually in for maintenance. The two BA 747s DID bring in Munster Supporters from Eire.
