For the Dutch spotters:

Next saturday june 1st there will come a Constellation to Lelystad for the Aviodome from Arizona.

Unfortunatly I'm not be able to go there but I hope some of you can do something with this information.

Kind Regards, George Polfliet

Wietse, it has been delayed till 8 june. The thing's still in the states.
I would expect further delays though. My luck, because as it turned out next saturday I wouldn't have been able to make it Smile

Website no longer mentions a date. "delayed pending FAA approval for the departure"...

George,

The irony of your comment is that had things gone to plan, it would have landed in the UK (Biggin Hill or Manston) during your time here.

Andy

PS: As an update from my "man on the spot", I'm told it did a two hour test flight yesterday from Avra Valley (now more correctly known as Marana North West Regional) and is running perfectly. The only problem is getting the bit of paper from the FAA - the ferry permit - which is taking more time than expected.
