I am so jealous of all of these adults that have these $3000 cameras and get absolutely marvelous pictures. While I am here with my little Elph. Smile

I need a DSLR SOOOO bad! I want to just go to a garage sale and find some retard to sell me one for $10. But, that won't happen. Can anyone work miracles?

Ummmm, you do not need $3,000. Just go to Ebay.

Speaking of Ebay, I bought a 128mb cf card for my D30 on there. It was only $50 compared to buying it (Lexar brand) in a local store for $100. It arrived in a mailing bag inside of a ziplok baggie. Looked new. Yes, it does work. but I'm thinking to myself, with this one and all the other cf cards for sale on ebay, where do these people get this stuff? I'm thinking someone may have shoplifted them out of WalMart or something. How can you find yourself with an "extra" cf card that you need to sell?

Kinda makes ya wonder.

But as for the camera, I bought it off a fella who does photographic work and bought a D60 because he needs the extra quality. You can definitely get good deals on ebay.

You dont need an DSLR man, in a few more years the price will drop even more. I use the F707....5 mp, 190mm zoom, and it does the job. It would be nice to have a D30 though...  Smile

WOW Justin. I didn't think the F707 could produce results like yours.

 Big thumbs up

I was thinking the same a few months ago, but after a bit of hard saving I should be getting a D30 tomorrow! Big grin

Go for a second hand one, mine will be costing £1000 in the UK so it must be cheaper in US / Canada as everything always is!!!!!
