What should I think? It's just another camera. What do YOU think?

Wow, those are some real positive responses. The C2100UZ is pretty good, Ryan Gaddis uses it (look up his photos on here). IMO, 2.1mp is a bit low. Nice though!

If you are excited about it, that is probably the most important thing! It is a great camera in its class. Go to www.steves-digicams.com and look at the photo-of-the-day contest there and you'll see that just about every other day the winner is taken with the model you are getting. I don't know if more people with that model submit photos, or if more are chosen- maybe a little of both. I think you should enjoy it as a camera overall, especially if you are shooting for the web. If you plan to make huge prints on a regular basis then you'll need higher resolution.

I have had the C-2100 since February, and for us who can't afford a DSLR it's a great camera. Of course, it would be better with a higher resolution, but 2.1 MP is ok and 10x zoom is excellent  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
Have a look at my picture at my pictures. All taken with the C-2100.

Its not easy to get really sharp pictures with the C2100 but you can get good results. This picture was taken at almost maximum zoom and has only been cropped slightly at the left plus top and bottom.

Only photo editing I do on my photos is lightly sharpen and resize them.

Type Scott Hoggard in the search engine to see the rest.
