Sometimes the screeners correct errors when they accept a picture, sometimes someone sees the error afterwards and uses the 'correct' button to alert the responsible administrator of the error and what the correction should be.

And the Database Standardization Editor is doing nothing else than making changes!
However, the change to this picture wasn't my work, but was most probably done by Andrew Davies, the Corrections Editor, acting on a correction sent in by a viewer.
I don't know what was originally listed as type, but the currently listed 20F-5 is correct (a 20F-5 is a 20F converted with a modern engine), and the format of the type is according to the aircraft type picklist on the photo upload page.
But while talking about this photo I could not resist making another change, I have changed the cn to 359/542 (this one has a double cn).
And I have also changed the generic type (or master model), as that was not according to the upload pick list. When the generic type is available in the pick list, please use that entry and do not change it. The generic type is used as a fixed search string in several photo searches, and the smallest change will cause your photo not turning up in these searches, which means less exposure for you!

Peter is correct, the aircraft type change was a correction sent in by a website visitor. Original aircraft type was "Unknown".
No mystery to how changes are made, as the photographer had himself sent in a change to his remarks at the same time
The Generic Type mismatch was me - was planning to fix those in a batch, but ran out out of time last night. However, I did bring the number of type variations for the Falcon down from 80+ to around half that number
