Hello users,

I am trying to buy a new digital camera with the $875 USD I have saved up. I am going to try and start taking pictures for this website, however I am also a firefighter and I would love to take good action shots during a real fire at the scene, fire training, or of the trucks around the station. However on dpreview.com, they stated that the F707 over exposed the reds in a few circumstances. Recently I read that they fixed the problem. I have heard nothing but praise from users of this camera and I would love to hear more rave or awful reviews.

Thanks for your time,
174thfwff.

I havent had problems overexposing any red. And ive shoot quite a few Southwest 737s....

Though beware the haze and the dark left hand corner

These problems are fixable though if you get it.

I read that post, I'm not to fond of that brownish color on the photos!

Im thinking it could be White Balance problem the earlier F707s were experiencing. You most likely wont have to worry about this. Im sending my F707 to Sony for them to fix it in a couple of weeks.
