Well,
in a short while I will start to upload my photos.  Smile
I am looking at scanners now, and bought one. Guess what, it went back to the dealer. What a piece of junk!!!
One of the reasons it went back was the dpi.
Am now looking at a Canon scanner instead with a higher dpi.
What would you say is the minimum dpi to get a good resolution (A.net standard)?

Thanks for your help.

When in doubt, flat out!

Check out this website

http://www.scantips.com lot's of information about scanning, dpi etc....

I am scanning at 1200 dpi, more than enough to meet a.net standards!

Vasco G.

Flatbed scanner or slide scanner? On my flatbed I always scanned at 600 dpi.

On my slide scanner I scan at 2900 dpi, the highest optical value.
