Hey Dmitry, that is a very nice shot. I browse corbis.com a lot, and that looks like something I would see there. See if they will take it.

FSP, I have never heard of Corbis.com, I will check it out.

LOT767, are you coming to ANC for photography at the airport? If so let me know when, I'll see if we can arrange something.

Very cool reflections on the windows, real sweet.

I have another one for you guys:

http://airliners.net/procphotos/rejphoto.main?filename=IMG428.jpg

It was rejected, think I should have a go at it in PS and upload again? 2 Screeners labelled it HQ and then was rejected by the third. (not bashing him, just giving the info)

Personally I think it is too damm hot up here right now.

LOT if you are up here, try and make the Alaska Transportation Museum in Wasilla.

And the Aviation Heritage Museum on Lake Hood

Check out the Palmer airport and see what is up there.

And go to the Arctic Roadrunner on International and Old Seward, have a hamburger and watch salmon swim up Cambell Creek from their deck.

OK, OK, I found the airplane. It's that small black dot in the sky in the left corner of the picture, right?  Big thumbs up

Wietse,

Sorry but I don't think any amount of post-production would result in the shot being accepted.

One thing you could try is cropping out the black (which I presume is the window).

It's one of those borderline shots which I think probably just falls on the wrong side of the line.

Sorry :-S

Steve.

Steve, thanks, but the window was part of the magic of the shot... its a shame... 2 screeners did see it though!

I think it's very nice photo. Why it has been rejected?
Maybe bad camera angle?

25 Post contains images Clickhappy: oh yeah, it didn't make it because it looks like another picture I took I was trying some new angles at SEA when I took that shot. All it cost me was
26 Alaskaairlines: Police cruiser? You must have really gotten to some hard to get place? -Dmitry
27 Clickhappy: I was right up against the fence line, along a busy road. Oh well, I wasn't breaking any laws, they just said I made them "nervous"
28 Alaskaairlines: Ah OK. Yeah, that does make them nervous. -Dmitry
