Hello,
Can anyone give me a positive ID on a Locheed Herc that was seen at ATL 8/8 and YYZ 8/9?? It was the typical flat grey with 61-PH on the back half of the fuselage. It had a Red/White/Green circle insignia but no other markings. Italian Air Force maybe?? Oh yeah, it was a stretch(L-100) with four bladed props. I know someone out there knows the info!
Steve

61-PH is the code of the French Air Force Lockheed C-130H-30 with serial/cn 5151. The roundel is not red-white-green, but red-white-blue.

No, it's not all grey. There was that roundel... red-white-green, of was it blue? Was that your mind or maybe your eyes?  Confused

Red White Blue.... sounds a lot like the Netherlands Royal Airforce, but I don't know if they operate the stretched one...

Wietse,

The Dutch (stretched) Hercs, are not coded 61-PH, but serialled G-273 and G-275. And as you should know as a Dutchman, they also have orange in the centre of the roundel.  Wink/being sarcastic

They do?  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

never saw military stuff here at AMS before, just a F27 one time, but I don't really know what the roundels look like.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
