3 classics in one photo! TWA Terminal 5 at JFK, classic Qantas livery and the Boeing 707. (Maybe it's 4 if you count TWA and Terminal 5 as seperate entities)

Thanks PW100. I wish I could have shot that scene better though. I really wasn't that happy with that shot... but it's really nice to see that the viewers feel differently than I do, thanks.
Maybe I'm just being to hard on myself...

I shot it on the 27th and Joe on the 29th. Difference is when I shot it, it was the day before the big press ceremony so the plane was parked in a particularly bad rear photo angle I thought, as seen on my shot.
Joe was able to shoot the way he did because on the 28th they finally moved the plane around to a more photo friendly angle to prep for the press event. My shot has somewhat hazy sun (the theme here this summer) on it... and Joe's has that funky looking wet tarmac and JFK fog in the back. Joe's shot takes the cake here.... it's screams out "JFK" and it's a real unique beauty.

well, the day of the event was horrible weather wise. didn't get any aircraft shots but made out well with other photos. Both Joe & Carlos' shots are excellent!

Here's a different look at N707JT  Smile

Well done Joe. An excellent nightime picture with the wet tarmac as well. In my opinion one of the best of N707JT whilst on its world tour.

Keep up the good work

Hey guys, wanted to thank you for the compliments- that shot was 5% setup/95% luck- i had a vehicle light up part of the front of the 707 but the rain, the TWA lit up sign and lit up terminal, the tower- that was not my doing  Big grin

Carlos, Carlos, Carlos. You will learn that women are not truly beautiful until they pass 40.

I'm 33 and my girlfriend is much younger than me, but the thought of her turning 40+ one day really scares me.  Sad
