Just wanted to let you fellas know the Green (Aer Lingus) World MD11 is due in there in about 20 minutes.... ferry flight from JFK. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up...

Wish something like that would stop in ANC every now and then. But, I guess I see more Cargo Jumbos than anyone else. Well, I guess the JFK/MIA/LAX see quite some movement.

Took good care of this AM before it left ferry for ATL. So I figured give you fellas the heads up for the PM shot there... you know, spread the joy around. Big grin

How'd you guys make out with it?? Might not last to long in that color since Aer Lingus has decided not to renew the lease on it.

I was down the south end of the D concourse when it landed on the south complex. Weather was appalling at the time so no good for shots I guess. I had spent a couple of days at the Renaissance Hotel - seemed to be a lot of World in ATL.

If you want World, come to ATL. Yesterday alone we had 5 aircraft here. The Green Machine, two standard MD-11s and two DC-10s, one with the blue tail and the other white tail. Plus the ATA Pleasant Hawaiian Hollidays L1011. Sunday is always busy for the military charters here!
The Green Machine is here a few times a month, but every time I see it the weather is bad, or I'm too busy with work to do anything about it. Oh well...maybe some day.
