Dear Screeners, Dear Johan,
I choose this way now to reach you, my E-mail to you has not been answered.
I have one single photo in the appeal queue since 4 or 6 weeks now. I can read in the "photo stats section", that there are about 40 photographers and about 200 photos before me. But these numbers don't change since 2 or 3 weeks now, and every day there are hundreds of photos processed by you or Johan. My photo is the only one in the appeal queue too.
So my question: Where is the problem in screening my photo by Johan? Is it normal to wait up to two months until a photo in the appeal queue will be processed?
I'm looking forward to hearing from you,
Kind Regards
Roland C.

I think I am the proud owner of the first image in the Appeal Queue. At one point, it actually said "There is 1 photo waiting to be screened by Johan. Of those, 1 are yours."

ExitRow: Yes, the same with me: "...there is 1 photo waiting to be screened by Johan. Of those, 1 are yours..." I read this since weeks now, but nothing happens.
But how can this be, if you and Airsnaps also have photos in the appeal queue?

I have the exact same problem. I have appealed quite a few photos over the last month, and they are still in the appeal q, the question is, it says Johan has like 4 photos waiting for him and I have more than that in the appeal queue. There are a few that I wouldn't appeal now, guess I am improving a bit?

There are a total of 2548 photos waiting to be processed on the upload page (0 waiting for Johan and 2548 waiting for the screeners).
Of those, 3 are yours.
328 photos and 80 photographers are currently before you in the queue (the number of photos may increase, not the number of photographers).
Of your 3 photos currently in the upload queue:
0 is in the high quality queue (needing the approval of three screeners to be added).
0 is deemed a border-case and has been brought to the attention of other screeners for their views.
0 is deemed a difficult border-case and has been left to Johan for final decision.
3 are in the Appeal queue and will be screened by Johan.
3 have not been screened yet.
0 waiting for Johan??? This has also happened a week ago when 19 pics were waiting for Johan, of those, 3 should be mine, but now it says again that there are no photos waiting for Johan... maybe anyone can explain?

C72, I´m not complaining! I upload pics and wait until they get screened, whenever this will be, but if 3 pictures are in the appeal Q (probably much more), how can the stats say that there are no pics waiting for Johan? Just wondering, not complaining!

It's like C72 said, it keeps you at the top of the queue. I only submitted one single appeal. I just hope people dont start abusing the appeal process due to this little trick. Mine was a serious attempt at appeal.

Me too, its love hate, I got a pic that I would like to see on anet, but then again, I don't have to wait two weeks to get results because my picture is in the queue. Heck one of my pictures was accepted in under 2 hrs.

I am lost in that area also, I have photos in the appeal queue and none for Johan? But, I think that has gotten over 50 photos accepted all within 1 day (after each upload). Got this little prop accepted in about 1 1/2 hrs:

I've had 3 in the appeal for about 1-2 weeks as well. I was really hoping to get one of the last Great Lakes B1900Ds into my home airport onto this site! Oh well... I guess I'll just have to wait more.

Thanks Peter! So Johan screens those when he has time or feels like doing it? Or does he wait untill there gets to be so many?
