Remember the popular photos from HECTOP? Inflight photo of the WTC's as they burned, and his other one over the pentagon days/weeks before 9-11. Just noticed they were removed, what was the reason? I did think it was odd he had photos of both of those landmarks (and just happened to be flying around Manhattan that dreadful day). My only guess was he got too many emails possibly criticizing him about the pics? Or maybe they were not his?

Well I was trying to avoid saying "maybe it wasn't his photo", but I wonder that too. A stunning photo it was, but it's odd I never saw it published anywhere. This seems like it happened within the past 2 days.

Over 6 days without a response. Was it that big of a deal it has to be kept "hush hush"?

I was only aware of one Hectop photo - still have a saved copy of it somewhere. I know nothing of the deletion of that image, though.
A possibility is that he sold the rights to that photo(s) to some agency and thus had to remove it/them from here as he no longer owned them himself. Wouldn't be the first time that has happened. Most likely scenario, IMO, assuming the photo was genuine in the first place - and on that score it's "innocent until proven guilty" as far as I'm concerned.
