So while you know I am going mad trying to decide between the Minolta DiMage 7Hi and Sony F717, I am also going crazy trying to study up on teleconverters.
I know everyone rant and raves about the B300, however can anyone comment on Kenko teleconverters. I am very new to all of this and maybe they make a crappy product. Can someone tell me about the company and their products? I know Sony has there new converter out, but do I go with the Kenko or the Sony?

I suggest you check out the forums available at http://www.dpreview.com. They're probably the busiest digital camera forums, divided by camera manufacturer. Inquire about the Kenko in the Minolta Talk forum, and ask about the new Sony teleconv in the Sony Talk forum. You'll get some good answers.
This site is what ultimately made up my mind over which digital camera to buy. I think everyone who is about to buy a digital camera should poke around this site. There's plenty of good information available, and it's always prudent to make a well-informed decision on such a thing.
