Hello friends!

I received this photo request:

this is in regard to your Taylorcraft F19 picture, really great photo. im just beginning to take up the wood crafting art called intarsia. goto www.intarsia.com for more info. its like a wood inlay art if you're not familiar with it. i would like to use the above photo and convert it into a line pattern and make it into an intarsia woodworking project if I could get your permission to do so, i do not intend to sell the PATTERN HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE TO SELL THE INTARSIA WOOD ART ITSELF ONCE COMPLETED.

I don't know if I should charge this person or not?

Here is the pic:

Nope..... It should be a freebie.

The final result (the woodart) will have absolutely no resemblance to your photo. Even if you saw it, you would never have known that your photo was used for the pattern. So just give the guy a break.

I would have to agree with Steve based on the info you provided above. I would at least request a "sample" finished product. For something like this he could have not emailed you and you wouldn't have been the wiser. Now if he decides to but your photo on a box of the product thats a different story  Smile
