These photos I took about 2 months ago on a old nikon FA, with a nikon 40-110 lens I believe (not sure). The camera's metering didn't work when I brought it out, so I had to guess everything. These two pictures I took of the same plane at Oxnard airport in California. These where the only pictures out of my two rolls that came out sort of "ok", since I had no metering, and the film was really old.
I got the pictures developed and put on a CD (it was expensive too 20 dollars ahh), and these are it, unedited, what do you think?, give me suggestions of what to differetnly, I want to get some kind of digital camera with a good zoom lens, can you guys recommend any????

PS: I hope the links work, I've never done this before

First one won't make it. Photo is not sharp, and the composition of the photo could be better.

2nd one won't make it either, appers to be overexposed, out of focus. But if you shot this one in focus and a good exposure, then it would be a nice shot, and possibly added to the db.

Keep trying, there is a lot of mistakes to make at the start of photography, and through out.

Well that my 2 cents.

Try not to shoot in the middle of the day when the sun is too high, it gives very contrasty pictures and it's difficult to get the exposure right. Late afternoon light is much easier.

Good luck shooting!
