That's funny. Earlier today, I was showing a friend of mine who is from Trinidad some BWIA shots on A.net and we ran across Garry's shot. My friend said, "Wow, that's a nice shot! I bet it's in some magazine somewhere!"
How approriate the timing is for this topic to come up.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Hi all,
Wow, I am flattered, many thanks to you all for your kind words.
Unfortunately my recent house move has made me broadband-less for a few weeks, while I have had to jump through hoops to get ntl to install it...........It should be in Thursday, thankfully, and that is why I have been absent for a while............and of course missed this nice thread.
That BWIA photo almost didn't make it into flight. I went away to Manchester for a couple of days shooting and when I got home there was an email from Max saying he needed to hear from me ASAP to use the shot..........I phoned him on Saturday afternoon, and by Wednesday it was in.
The shot was the first time I have shot departures from there and was a bit of a gamble, but luckily the A340's awful departure performance allowed me to get some nice shots. Right place, right time
